we have a 2-hour sample from the set at the al khaima restaurant for the gnaoua festival, essaouira 2007.

there’s tracks from both dj ohm and kiterae – definitely more angled towards upfront techno/house. it was good fun playing this gig – hopefully this is clear in the recordings.

When I started to listen to this, I didn’t expect to like it, since I’m more of a Gnaoua-Rock fan than into techno. However, this music is really cool and I wish that I’d come over to the Al Khaima while I was at the festival this year.
