Dan Amitai in a pensive mood

I almost wandered straight past this gem. Think something to get the blood rushing whilst flowing through the city on a Sunday nite. Equal measure of pensive calm and pure in-yer-face cheek (just enough to keep out of tasteless mashup hell). Even if the term quiet power means something to you, prepare to be schooled.
Amitai plunges to glacial depths on this smart little mix. On the way he makes some serious headway into the exploration of what exactly is the ‘dub’ in dubstep. On that subject, why exactly is it this sensibility is so tough to pin down? Maybe because to say this music comes from the hip takes a way what it does to your head. You can assign it to no part of body or soul.
