we have a 2-hour sample from the set at the al khaima restaurant for the gnaoua festival, essaouira 2007. there’s tracks from both dj ohm and kiterae – definitely more angled towards upfront techno/house. it was good fun playing this gig – hopefully this is clear in the recordings. more on essaouira

so, it finally went off. after spending a morning figuring out how to get x2 dj set ups (vinyl + cd decks) into the heart of the medina, we finally got to play. a full 7 hours in the end. it took about that long to get the crowd going (maybe something to do with [...]
