Remember my previous post on paper zombies? Well lucky for us "arts & crafts" type I have stumbled upon a blog (Paper Toy'z) specifically dedicated to print at home and fold caricatures. The one pictured above goes by the name of Coobie and it is a thunderpanda creation. You can download the template straight from here and give it a go.

Men in Slippers is a project between Mikael Stavostrand & KJ Gibbs. I caught wind of it through Davide Squillace's Beatport Chart (more on him in a second). The track is titled Ultra Necessity and it is a collection of random samples that come together perfectly. The drumming is superb and let's not forget the very unique driving bassline.

Another notable MiniSketch track in Squillace's Beatport chart was Kerkez - Afterhours. Don't sleep on that one!
Now for those of you who live in the Miami area, Davide Squillace is playing on Saturday (Nov. 8th) @ Safe, which is held at Circa 28. Remember those two great tracks I just pointed out to you? Well MiniSketch is Squillace's label. Not only does he put out his own music on there but as you can see by the rest of the releases on MiniSketch and his Beatport chart the man has an extraordinary ear for music.
Safe is currently responsible for most of the good talent that comes through Miami so make sure to give their site another look.
